3:19 The Deen before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will).
DEEN in Islam is not just a dogma or an ideology, it is a comprehensive way of life.
Hadeeth of Jibreel: Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. At the end of the event, the Prophet, pbuh, tells the Sahaba (his companions): this was Jibreel, came to educate you about your “DEEN”.
Islam is not just a religion to believe in, not just worships that we do and rituals that we carry out. Islam is an integrated approach to life that we should exercise 24/7. Every breath we take and every second that goes by.
It is a “Minhaj” or an approach that must be integrated in all aspects of our lives.
Islam as a way of life is designed to bring out the best in us human beings. It is the optimum approach to this universe.
The early Muslims lived Islam, understood Islam and used it to lead the world.
To live Islam, we must (MUST) understand it: fully comprehend it
fully ingrained in our systems, and to be fully imbedded in our souls.
It should become second nature to us (better yet, first nature). No need to think about it, we simply live it and live by it.
So, to live it, we need to love it and understand it. Then and only then, do we derive the full benefit of this Deen, and then and only then, that we expect to be at our best and that this Deen would bring out the best in us.
In the Hadeeth, the Prophet, pbuh, tells us: Mann uridellahu bihee khayran yufaqihuhu fedDeen
Whomsoever Allah would like to guide him to goodness and wellness, Allah would make him understand and comprehend the Deen (of Islam)
This Hadeeth is telling us that if we understand Islam then we are on our way to good life and to happiness.
That is exactly what Islam is for: a way of life to bring out the best in us and to provide us with the best. To give us guidance and happiness. The true happiness that we all dream of.
The understanding that goes beneath the surface. The understanding that goes beyond the rules and regulation. The understanding that goes beyond the rituals.
We need a true understanding that corrects the immense misunderstanding that killed the Islamic momentum and distorted the Muslim identity.
The Prophet’s Hadeeth uses the word ufaqihuhu (derived from Fiqh) fee adDeen.
To most of us, the word “Fiqh” is automatically associated with the rules and regulations, and with the rituals more than the essence.
The true usage of the word Fiqh is to indicate deep understanding and true comprehension.
So, Fiqh of Deen is comprehending how Islam should be a way of life and how to integrate it in all our affairs
That is exactly what the Hadeeth is telling us: if we truly comprehend how Islam should be a way of life and how to integrate it in all our affairs, then we will have the best and we be at our best… we would have the goodness that Allah intended for us.
One of the fundamentals that we must understand to be able to lead a proper life in this dunya is what are we here for. Why did Allah create us and what function are we to serve.
We Muslims challenge people from other religions to answer that question. They typically come up with vague and uncertain answers. Typically answers of human invention.
We proudly tell them the Quran answered that question for us and we don’t need to invent our own. Allah swt reveals to us “wama Khalqtu Aljinna wal Insa illa leya’budoon”. I HAVE NOT CREATED JINN AND INS EXCEPT TO WORSHIP ME.
So, let us look closely at our understanding of this “worship” that Allah Has created us for.
You see, Allah did not create us for fun or in vain… أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا Al-Mu'minun [23:115]
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Allah’s code for his creation (Law – tradition) is that every creation, every system, every apparatus, every device, has a function and there is a reason for its existence.
We the Humans recognize that in our own designs and manufacture. We build for a reason.
Examining the physics of nature, we find that all things needs some form of input to function properly and produce its desired output.
A car needs gas, oil, coolant, maintenance and care to function properly and yields the transportation output is was made for.
A plant needs good soil, irrigation, fertilization, air and sun, and human care to produce its desired output of fruit or shade or scenery or other forms of use it is good for.
So, we come to us, the humans, what is our input and what is our output, and are we good for?
Our input… We eat, drink, sleep, … many many forms of input… All Allah’s bounties that He Has bestowed on us are essential to our lives.. They are our input:
Wealth, health, shelter, clothing, family, friends, love, education, Lots of inputs that Allah has provided for us…
Now, we ask, what is our output?
If we stick to the literal meaning of the Quranic verse, our typical answer will be worship Allah… We pary and fast, we worship Allah, etc…
The question comes back to us, who is benefiting from that… For something to qualify as an output, it has to be of benefit to others, it has to be of use to someone else?
If we look at the worships that we claim as output, they are of no benefit to Allah… He is never the beneficiary of anything we do or produce.
The only beneficiary of these worships are us, the humans. These worships are but the prescriptions that make us function properly… They are the training tools that improve our quality and enhance our goodness… In fact, we should count them among our inputs… They are essential to sustain our systems and ensure their compliance with the desired Islamic specs. In engineering terms, we can think of them as the feedback that stabilizes our systems, things that we output to be feedback as a stabilizing input.
So, what is our true output… The true output are those worships that we extend beyond our confines beyond our selves and beyond our persons. They are the worships that influences the life of others, the worships that enhance the quality of the ummah. It is the role we play in إعمار الأرض construction, developing; advancing; growing, populating the earth– being the representative for Allah in this earth, spreading good and fighting evil.
The scholars of Islam categorized the duties of the Muslim into two main categories: Fard Ayn and Fard Kefayah.
To meet your obligation as a Muslim, one must fulfil his duties on both fronts… Fard Ayn and Fard Kefaya…
1. فروض العين
1. Individual obligations essential to sustain the wellbeing of the human, hence enable the human to be a productive member of the universe… just like eating, sleeping, and exercising.
2. فروض الكفاية
2. Collective obligations essential to sustain quality human life on earth, hence enable the humans to carry on their collective duties
as Allah’s deputies on earth.
We all know Furood Ain as the obligatory duties that each one of us mus fulfil and no one can substitute for the other in performing them… Example is the prayer… each one of us does his/her own prayers, etc…
Unfortunately, furood alkifaya are typically misrepresented as the obligations that others can do and not everyone carries the obligation by themselves. Scholars tell us that if somone does them, the obligation drops and if no one does them then we are all liable.
So, most Muslims rely on others carrying furood alkjifaya, because there always those few who will conscientious and take care of them…
A famous example is the Janaza prayer… if a few perform it, it is no longer an obligation for the others…
But, again… is that all? Are furood alkefaya of that kind… the Janaza prayer…
It goes far beyond that…
Unfortunately, it is typically presented to us as the obligations that we don’t have to worry about… Others can do it on our behalf…
In other words the obligations that don’t obligate us in particular… Or, the obligation that is not really an obligation…
The point is that presenting furood alkefaya to us this way is removing us as effective members of the society… and by vacating that role, someone else fills it… hence that someone else can manipulate and control…
“You” just worry about your furood alayn… confine yourself to your own self and narrow circle and leave the bigger picture to “us”… This is what the evil regimes around us are doing to us…
Sit in the back and “enjoy” the ride… and… leave the driving to us… Worried about the destination? None of your business.

There are many forms of tasks that are needed to sustain a community, society, and the ummah at large
o Infrastructure
o Wealth and economic system
o Social system
o Governing system
o Legal system
o Etc…
Furoud alkefaya may be categorized into two categories:
Things that we do for a monetary return, and things that we do as volunteers
It is Allah’s mercy on us that we can meet our furoud alkefaya duties while earning an income, increasing our social status and our position of influence….
However, our prophet, pbuh, educates us that innama ala3mal benneyat… so, which dominates your intention and purpose of the tasks that we do…
Ifit is just a job to earn money, it lost its reward with Allah swt and you cant count it among your FK…
If it is just a task you do so people will praise you, you got your reward from the people and you lost its reward with Allah swt and you cant count it among your FK…
Etc…
ودلوقتي ييجي ميعاد الدرس التاني – فروض الكفاية – قبل ما ندخل في الموضوع خليني أسألكو عن آخر مرة سمعتو درس أو خطبة أو حتى كلام عابر من شيخ أو داعية عن فروض الكفاية – شكلها كده حاجة ثانوية في الدين وموش مهمة قد كدة – ولو جت سيرتها تتشرح على إنها الفروض التي لو قام بها البعض لسقطت عن الكل – يعني كده زي صلاة الجنازة – يكفي إن كام واحد كده يصلو على الميت يسقط بذلك الإلتزام عن الباقين... بس خدو بالكو (في استدراك لا يدعو للإهتمام) لو ماحدش قام بيها يأثم الجميع -- بالذمة عمر الكلام ده حصل في صلاة جنازة – لا طبعا – وبالتالي يفقد هذا الاستدراك أهميته أو أي تأثير يترك انطباعا بالأهمية...
لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله – تصورو حضراتكم إن فروض خطيرة زي فروض الكفاية تتشرح لينا على إنها ما هياش فروض – ما تقلقوش – حد تاني حايقوم بيها احنا موش لازم يكون لينا دور فيها – يعني الفرض سقط يارجاله – يا سبحان الله ...
موش مفروض برضه الفرض يبقى فرض... والا إيه ... ويتعرف بصورة إيجابية موش بصورة سلبية ...
فروض الكفاية يا أحباب هي الفروض الواجبة على المجتمع الإسلامي ككل متكامل حتى تصح الأمة وتنصلح أحوالها – وبالتالي تتكافل الأمة في القيام بهذه الفروض – يعني كده الشغل يتوزع على الجميع وكل واحد يشيل جزء من الشيلة – ما ينفعش حد يبلط في الخط ويعيش سفلقه ويسيب غيره يشيل وحضرته قاعد يتفرج – وبالتالي التعريف اللي يوضح هذه الصورة هو أن فروض الكفاية هي الفروض التى يتكامل في القيام بها أفراد المجتمع حتى تصح الأمة وتنصلح أحوالها –
وبالتالي فإن فروض العين هي الفروض الواجبة على كل شخص نحو نفسه أساسا من صيام وصلاة وزكاة وحج وما إلى ذلك بينما فروض الكفايه هي الفروض الواجبة على كل شخص نحو مجتمعه (الآخرين – الأمة - ...) وبذا تكتمل الصورة...
فاللي يقوللي أنا بعمل الفروض اللي عليه – باصلي واصوم وازكي وحجيت كام مرة – ما حدش يقدر يقوللي تلت التلاته كام – أقول له وراح فين دورك في فروض الكفاية ياعزيزي – فين دورك في نضافة الشوارع ورعاية الأيتام وتنظيم المرور وجودة التعليم ومحو الأمية والتنمية الاقتصادية ومحاربة الفساد والعناية بالبيئة وعدم الإسراف في استخدام الوقود والكهرباء والمياه وغيره وغيرها – موش دي من الأمور التي يعاني منها مجتمعنا – من غيرها لا تصح الأمة ولا تنصلح أحوالها – أهي دي فروض كفاية ما حدش في المجتمع قام بيها – يعني المفروض بقى إن الجميع يأثم – موش كده برضه والا إيه – حايقول لي ياعمي وانت حاتحملني الذنب ليه – هو موش فيه حكومة وموظفين وعمال نضافة وبيوت رعاية مسنين ودور أيتام ووزرا وغفرا وعساكر وخلافه – أنا ليه بقى أتحط في المعادله دي واطلع مسئول وعلي إلتزامات ...
عارفين ليه بقه بقالنا سنين طويلة ما حدش بيكلمنا على فروض الكفاية ؟؟ سبب بسيط – هم موش عايزينا ناخد بالنا منها ولا نشارك فيها – لو إحنا شاركنا في إصحاح الأمة وإصلاح أحوالها حاننقلب عليهم وحانعرف حقوقنا وموش حانرضى بيهم ولا بذلهم ولا استعبادهم – خلينا إحنا بس مشغولين بفروض العين كفاية علينا ونفضل إنعزاليين مفككين وكل واحد ملخوم في لقمة عيشه وتسيير أحواله ومتعه الشخصية وأهواؤه – وأهم شيء إننا ما ناخدش بالنا من الصورة الكبيرة أو ننتبه لضرورة تكامل المجتمع أو نشارك في إصلاح الأمة..! حيبقى كارثة عليهم -- "خليهم عايشين في زبالة الشوارع وزحمة المرور وغلو المعيشة وأزمات الوقود والكهرباء والمياه وغيره وغيرها..." – أصل لو فقنالهم موش حانسيبهم يسرقو وينهبو براحتهم ... علشان كده بقت فروض الكفاية هي صلاة الجنازة ...
تعرفو بقى – أهم الإخوان المسلمين اللي بتتهموهم بالتطرف والإرهاب – واللي الدولة كلها دلوقتي متدوره على إنها تشوه صورتهم - والإعلام شغال عليهم ليل ونهار ونجح في إنه يقلب عليهم نسبة كبيرة من الشعب - والجيش والبوليس وبلطجيتهم (المواطنين الشرفاء) شغالين اغتيالات فيهم واعتقالات وتلفيق تهم الدنيا بغرض استأصالهم من المجتمع – تعرف بقى إن الإخوان دول من أكتر الناس اللي اتربو على الإلتزام – الإسلام الصح يعني - على القيام بفروض العين – وخير من يقوم بفروض الكفاية اللي أغلب الشعب أسقطها وموش حاسس بدوره فيها ولا عنده أي استعداد إنه يقلق نفسه بيها – الإخوان المسلمين اللي انتو موش عايزينهم دول هم عماد فروض الكفاية – ولما نستأصلهم ستزيد فروض الكفاية الغير مستوفاه وسيزيد المجتمع إثما – ولن تصح الامة ولن تنصلح أحوالها...

والواضح أنهم يفشلون في أن يعوقوا تقدم الإسلام والإسلاميين بالطرق السلمية ويلجأون دائما للإجراءات الاتثنائية... فيفصلون القوانين واللوائح تفصيلا... ويستخدمون من الوسائل والأساليب أقذرها لتشويه الصورة وإفشال التحرك الإسلامي... وأسلحتهم في هذا الصدد تتمحور في استخدام الإعلام المغرض المضلل... المخابرات والإرهاب البوليسي (والحربي)... استخدام القضاء الغير عادل مزدوج المعايير... والإغداق في الإنفاق دعما لتنفيذ المخطط... وتجميد الأموال والأجهزة الإعلامية لإعجاز المقاومة... ومن أخطر أسلحتهم استخدام الغافلين والمغرضين وذوي المصالح من المسلمين (ما يسمونهم بالمعتدلين) للترويج لحملتهم...
وهنا أقولها بوضوح ودون مواراة... إنها حرب ضد الإسلام والإسلاميين... تتم بنفس الأسلوب ونفس المنهجية التي حورب بها الإسلام في أمريكا في 2001... وما كان من قبول صعود الإسلاميين إلى الحكم إلا جزءا من الخطة التي وضعت بإحكام... فكان أن مكنوهم في الظاهر دون أدنى درجات التمكين الفعلي... وصار الإسلاميون في الواجهة يتلقون الطعنات من الأمام والخلف... وكانت النهاية الطبيعية هو نجاح خطة الإفشال وتأليب الرأي العام ضدهم... والوصول إلى ما وصلنا إليه الآن... وللأسف وقع الإسلاميون في الشرك وخدعوا بحسن ظنهم ولذا كان الدرس قاسيا وعنيفا...
