عبادة يجب أن يتصدرها المسلمون - مسؤوليتنا في عمارة الأرض

قال الله تعالى: (وماخلقت الجنّ والأنس إلا ليعبدون – الذاريات:65) ، وقال سبحانه: (وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة – البقرة:30) ، وفي آية ثالثة قال عز من قائل: (هو الذي أنشأكم من الأرض وإستعمركم فيها – هود:61).

لقد لخص لنا علماء الإسلام أسباب خلق الإنسان في ثلاثة أسباب متكاملة متلازمة هي: عبادة الله وخلافة الأرض، وعمارتها.

عبادة الله هي من الخلافة في الأرض ومن عمارتها.  والخلافه هي من عبادة الله، ومن عمارة الأرض كذلك.  وعمارة الأرض هي عبادة لله وخلافته فيها.

ولنتأمل سويا المضمون والمحتوى لمهمة عمارة الأرض:

عمارة الأرض تشمل عمارتها بالسكان كما تشمل عمارتها بالحياة والأنشطه.. بالمدن.. بالبناء.. بالمصانع وبالمزارع.. بالمنشأت والطرق..بالعلوم والفنون.. بالفكر والأدب.. بالتجارة والإقتصاد.. بكل ألوان الحياة وجميع أنواع الأنشطه التي أباحها الله لنا فصارت ممارستها عبادة.. بل صار فرضا علينا الإنشغال بها والقيام بها على أفضل وجه.

Imaratul-Ard: (Populate the earth and enrich it with life and civilization)

Imaratul-Ard is the role of human beings on this earth.  It is a responsibility that must be met and fulfilled.  It is in effect the purpose for which humans were placed on this earth for.  Allah (SWT) says in suratul Thariyat: 65, what may translate in meaning to (wmtimt), “I did not create the Jinn and the humans except for worshipping Me.”  In suratul Baqara: 30, Allah says, wmtimt,  “And your Lord said to the Angles: I will instate on the earth a deputy (vicegerent).”  Moreover, He adds in surat Hud: 61, wmtimt,  “It is He Who has brought you forth from the earth and made you thrive into it (put you in charge of “Imaratul-Ard”).   

Hence, Islamic Scholars have concluded for us that we were created for three integrated complementary purposes: Worship the One God, Allah, be His deputies on this earth, and Imaratul-Ard.  All three are, in fact, one in purpose and function.

Imaratul-Ard is the function of populating the earth and enriching it with life and civilization.  This includes all forms of life activities, establishing the civil infrastructure, industry and agriculture, arts and sciences, literature and philosophy, trade and economics, roads and utilities, and all forms of activities that Allah Has made allowable to us.  Hence, it becomes worship to Allah to exercise these activities and to actively pursue it in the best of ways.

نعم عمارة الأرض فرض على بني آدم وواجب هم مكلفون به.. وأجدر من يقوم بهذا الدور من بني آدم هم المسلمون.. نعم المسلمون أجدر البشر بعمارة الأرض ـ المسلمون أجدر بني آدم بالصدارة في العلوم والفنون والزراعة والصناعة والتجارة والإقتصاد.. نعم المسلمون بما كلفوا به من عبادة الله وخلافة هم أجدر بني آدم بالدور الرئيس والقيادي في عمارة الأرض..

وللأسف ننظر حولنا ونتأمل واقعنا لنجدنا وقد تخلفنا عن هذه الصدارة وعن هذه القيادة ـ وصرنا

هم يقودون ونحن نتبع ـ هم يزرعون ويصنعون ونحن نأكل ونلبس ـ هم يتاجرون ونحن نشتري ـ هم يبتكرون ويتفننون ونحن نجري وراء نتاجهم ونلهث!!.

خذلنا أمرا إلهيا كان جدير بنا الإلتزام به ، وهو الخلافة في الأرض وعمارتها ، وتركناه لمن لايستحقون ، بل لمن يسيئون العمل به ويستخدمونه ضدنا ولضررنا!!.

Imaratul-Ard:  Worship for the Muslims to empower.

Imaratul-Ard is thus the duty of all human beings in general and is that for the Muslims in particular.  It is we the Muslims that should take the main leadership role in performing this function; be in the leadership position to develop, guide, implement, and influence all forms of Imaratul-Ard.  This is so as we the Muslims are ones who carry the message of Islam and appreciate what it means. 

Unfortunately, this is not the case in our times; we gave away our frontage position that we were in before and given up the leadership and hence became followers.  Others have taken the lead and we became trailers.  They lead and we follow; they plant and manufacture and we eat and wear their products; they sell and we buy; they invent and create novelties that we chase feverishly.

We gave up an essential role that Allah has entrusted us with; and we gave it away to those who are not worthy of it nor qualified to carry it.  Furthermore, they misuse it and direct it against Islam and to harm the Muslims. 

أين الصدارة؟

إن عمارة الأرض عبادة لله يجب أن يتصدرها المسلمون ، ويوجهوها الوجة السليمة وفقا لتعاليم الإسلام إسعادا لبني آدم ، وتيسيرا للصواب والصراط المستقيم ، وتجنب الهوى والشهوات والمفاسد.

لقد ترك المسلمون الصدارة والقيادة فصارت الفنون تسخر في أمور المعاصي واللهو والعبث دون ضوابط ودون قيم ، وصار الإقتصاد مبنيا على الربا والسحت ، وصارت العلوم تسخر للإطاحة بهم وحصر نشاطهم.

تركنا الصدارة والقيادة فصرنا تابعين منقادين مقلدين نجري ونلهث خلف مايتفضلون به علينا.. نأخذ مايعطون ونحرم مايمنعون.. ولا حول ولاقوه لنا إلا بما يسمحون!!.

It is vital that Muslims should lead the worship of Imaratul-Ard and steer it in the proper direction according to Islam, as Islam is the only proper way of life designed to ensure proper happiness for humans; thus making way for righteousness and the straight path and avoiding evil desires and corruption.

As Muslims gave up the leadership role in Imaratul-Ard, Arts are now almost always affiliated with disobedience to Allah’s commands.  Almost always, arts are associated with imbalance in ethics and values.  Economy, as a result, is built on usury and interest; sciences are used defeat the Muslims and curtail their activities.

To our shame, our role as trailers has become of those blind followers who helplessly adopt whatever they throw at us and we are denied any chance at whatever they keep away from us.

تركنا الصدارة والقيادة فصرنا ضعفاء -  فبدلا من أن ننشغل بدعوتهم إلى دين الله صرنا نجاهد في سبيل المحافظة على ممارستنا لعباداتنا ، وصارت هذه الممارسة شاقة ، والنظم المحيطة بنا من نسج أيديهم ، وقد أحكموها لتضيق علينا ، وتحد من تطلعاتنا.

بل صار جهادنا أن نجد الوقت أو المكان لأداء الصلاة.. الحلال من الطعام لنأكله.. الحلال من المعاملات الماليه لتجنب الربا.. الحفاظ على أنفسنا وعلى أهلنا وأولادنا من فساد المجتمعات التي نعيش فيها..

وصار جهادنا في غض البصر والسمع والحواس عما حرم الله..

وهذا هو جهاد المنقادين التابعين الذين لاحول ولاقوه لهم الا بما يسمح به غيرهم..

Instead of us, Muslims, making it our duty to call them to the Truth of Islam, we are, at best, exerting the effort to maintain our worship practices, which is becoming more and more difficult to do, as all the systems and lifestyles around us are designed to limit us from freely practicing our beliefs and limit our ambitions for a better day.

Our Jihad has become confined to finding the time and place to do our prayers, finding the Halal food to eat, finding the Halal banking system to deal with, or shielding ourselves, our children, and our families from the distorted value societies we live in.

Our Jihad has become that of keeping our sight and hearing away from what Allah has forbidden.

This is the Jihad of the followers with no will or control.

مسؤوليتنا في عمارة الأرض

إن مسئوليتنا في عمارة الإرض مسئولية خطيرة ومهمة وهي مسؤولية أساسية لتمكن المسلمين من عبادة الله حق عبادته ـ إن دورنا في الصدارة والقيادة دور مهم وخطير، إذ نوجه الفكر والعلوم والفنون وسائر ألوان عمارة الأرض التوجيه السليم الذي كلفنا الله به ، وحملنا مسئوليته كمسلمين موحدين..  

إن واجبنا ودورنا الجد والإجتهاد وبذل كل الطاقات ـ وإذا كان هدفنا أن ننتقل من التبعية إلى الصدارة وجب علينا بذل الجهد المضاعف..

لنجند كل طاقاتنا ومواردنا في سبيل التقدم والصدارة في العلوم، في الفنون، في الآداب، في البناء، في المعمار، في الصناعة، في التجارة، وفي الاقتصاد.. وفي تقوية وتوحيد صفوفنا وتكاملنا.. وأن نشمل بجهدنا كافة الجبهات والاحتياجات.. 

إنها مسئولية خطيرة تقع على عاتقي وعاتق كل فرد منا.. إنه دورنا وواجبنا والتزامنا ـ وسنحاسب على تقصيرنا في أدائه يوم القيامه ـ يوم نسأل عن مالنا فيما أنفقناه.. عن عمرنا فيما أمضيناه.. وعن شبابنا فيما أفنيناه.. وعن علمنا فيما استخدمناه.. وعن جهدنا وطاقتنا فيما سخرناهما..

Our responsibility towards Imaratul-Ard is a genuine and a critical one.  It is to enable the Muslims of worshipping Allah in the proper and comprehensive way.  It is also to lead mankind to the true path of righteousness; the path of fairness and peace; the path of true happiness the way Allah has intended for us through Islam.
